Because God Love Me . . . 

He is slow to lose patience with me.

He takes the circumstances of my life and uses them in a constructive way for growth.

He does not treat me as an object to be possessed and manipulated.

He has no need to impress me with how great and powerful He is because He is God, nor does He belittle me as His child in order to show me how important He is.

He is for me. He wants to see me mature and develop in His love.

He does not send down His wrath on every little mistake I make, of which there are many.

He does not keep score of all my sins and then beat me over the head with them whenever He gets the chance.

He is deeply grieved when I do not walk in the ways that please Him, because He sees this as evidence that I don’t trust Him and love Him as I should.

He rejoices when I experience His power and strength and stand up under the pressures of life for His name’s sake.

He keeps on working patiently with me even when I feel like giving up and can’t see why He doesn’t give up with me too.

He keeps on trusting me when at times I don’t even trust myself.

He never says there is no hope for me; rather, He patiently works with me, loves me and disciplines me in such a way that it is hard for me to understand the depth of His concern for me.

He never forsakes me, though many of my friends might.

He stands with me when I have reached the rock bottom of despair, when I see the real me and compare that with His righteousness, holiness, beauty, and love. It is at a moment like this that I can really believe that God loves me.

Yes, the greatest of all gifts is God’s Perfect Love.

BIBLE BITES – 911 Emergency Prayer Request

Do you have an emergency prayer request, a problem that’s more than you can handle and need help from a “higher power?”  You don’t know who to turn to or what to believe, but you want to believe there really is a Higher Power who will help you out?

God, if You exist and are there, reveal Yourself to me in ways I cannot miss.  I want to know You can help me!  I am struggling and need EMERGENCY PRAYER!

Do You really know everything about me and my problem?  I really need a solution and I want it to be my solution!  But what if You give me a different solution to my problem?  How will I be able to trust You?  Should I ever turn to You again?  Can I trust You with my problem?   I need peace because I’m worried and so anxious. 

Jesus said “I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give.”       John 14:27 (NLT)

I need to know You love me unconditionally!

And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.       Romans 8:38-39 (NLT)

Will anything good come from this trial, this problem of mine?

Only if it causes me to turn to God for the solution.

Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy.  If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and He will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking. But when you ask him, be sure that your faith is in God alone. Do not waver.       James 1:2, 5, 6 (NLT)

What can God do to resolve my problem?

Now all glory to God, who is able, through His mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. Glory to Him in the church and in Christ Jesus through all generations forever and ever! Amen.        Ephesians 3:20-21 (NLT)

God, please, help me to turn to You, to Trust in You and to believe that You will respond to a sincere request for help.
