Heavenly Father, Every day we see injustice.  Murder, terror, anger.  People wonder if You really exist.  They ask:  If there is a God, why is there so much evil in the world?  Why do people do hateful and harmful things to others?  Where are the consequences?  And why does it take so long for justice go be served?  We wonder:   COULD GOD GOVERN IF HE HATED JUSTICE?  ARE YOU GOING TO CONDEMN THE ALMIGHTY JUDGE?  FOR HE SAYS TO KINGS, ‘YOU ARE WICKED,’ AND TO NOBLES, ‘YOU ARE UNJUST.’  Job 34:17-18 (NLT)

Do You hate justice?  Have You left us here on this earth that You created to just fend for ourselves?  Do rulers and those in power ever face consequences for their unjust actions?  Why do we suffer at the hands of others?  We all have so many questions, and You provide us with so few answers.

But this verse causes us to look to You because it states:  RISE UP, O GOD, AND JUDGE THE EARTH, FOR ALL THE NATIONS BELONG TO YOU.  Psalms 82:8 (NLT) If all the nations belong to you, then all the nations will be judged.  We know that none are good, that we all fall short because of the sin nature inherent in all. With that being the case, we choose to come to You confessing and repenting sin and can only seek Your forgiveness through faith in Christ.  Through Your plan for salvation, Christ bore the penalty for my sin.  Your amazing love grants mercy and grace.

You are to be praised and thanked for Your eternal plan of salvation.  In Jesus’ Name ~ Amen
