I fell in love with God and I hope the WOW Factor will help you fall in love with God too.
About eight years ago I was leading a group of ladies through The Search For Significance by Robert S. McGee. I asked the ladies to read a number of verses and then to just respond and react to these verses. They had just one word as they understood that God loves them and that He passionately desired to have a personal relationship with them.
I was thrilled by their reaction.
What’s your reaction to Psalms 25:8-10? ‘The Lord is good and does what is right; he shows the proper path to those who go astray. He leads the humble in doing right, teaching them his way. The Lord leads with unfailing love and faithfulness all who keep his covenant and obey his demands.’
As you become more familiar with Scripture, you’ll develop the habit of responding to Scripture while journaling your prayers to God. And the best part is how He chooses to answer your prayers, which is ALWAYS a better solution to your situation than you envisioned.
Think about this from Hebrews 13:20-21: ‘Now may the God of peace–may he equip you with all you need for doing His will. May He produce in you, through the power of Jesus Christ, every good thing that is pleasing to Him. All glory to Him forever and ever!’
Psalms 20:4-5 – ‘May He grant your heart’s desires and make all your plans succeed. May the Lord answer all your prayers.’
I love The WOW Factor because I spent more time learning about God’s character, His grace and mercy. I hope you’ll fall in love with Him too.
